The Carvelle Center of Excellence, a part of The Carvelle Collective, is a nonprofit corporation focused on the development of young men aged 10-18. Our mission is to realize potential and exceed expectations, providing a safe and nurturing environment for at-risk youth and those seeking guidance. As a new startup, we are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of young men through our diverse range of services and classes.
Nurturing Growth, Building Skills
At The Carvelle Center of Excellence, we offer a comprehensive range of services designed to foster the development and reintegration of young men. Our offerings span across various fields, providing a holistic approach to learning and growth. From academic subjects to practical skills, therapeutic services to emergency housing, we strive to cater to the diverse needs of the young men we serve.
Youth Offender Reintegration
Our reintegration program is designed to help young men who have had encounters with the justice system. We provide them with the necessary tools and guidance to reintegrate into society, focusing on personal development, skill-building, and positive reinforcement.
Educational Classes
We offer a wide array of classes aimed at broadening horizons and building practical skills. These include economics, where we teach the basics of financial literacy and money management; art, where creativity is encouraged; IT, where we introduce the basics of computer literacy and digital skills; and cooking, music, fashion, gardening, mechanics, carpentry, and woodworking, where practical skills are taught and honed.
Group Therapy
Our group therapy sessions provide a safe and supportive environment for young men to share their experiences, learn from each other, and develop coping mechanisms. These sessions are facilitated by experienced therapists who guide the discussions and provide professional advice.
Emergency Housing
Recognizing that a stable living environment is crucial for personal development, we provide emergency housing for those in need. This service ensures that every young man we serve has a safe and secure place to call home while they work towards their personal goals.
